The layers of nanoceramic media create an ideal environment for microorganisms to grow, enabling passive aeration. These microbes efficiently remove pollutants from wastewater, enabling businesses to meet wastewater discharge standards while minimising operational costs.
The technology was developed in the research laboratories of the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO).
